Terms of Use.

By accessing or using Zuno.ng — including our website, mobile application, or any associated service — you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms of Use.

These Terms apply to all users of the platform including customers who post jobs, artisans who offer services, and general visitors. Using Zuno in any capacity constitutes full acceptance of these Terms.

Zuno is intended for use by individuals who meet all of the following criteria:

• You are 18 years of age or older
• You are physically located in Nigeria or using the platform for services within Nigeria
• You have a valid Nigerian phone number for verification purposes
• You are legally permitted to enter into binding agreements under Nigerian law
• You have not previously been suspended or banned from the Zuno platform

By creating an account or posting a job, you represent and warrant that you meet all the above requirements. Zuno reserves the right to verify eligibility and deny access at any time.

As a customer using Zuno to post jobs and hire artisans, you agree to:

• Post accurate, honest, and complete job descriptions
• Provide a real location and valid contact information
• Honour agreed payment amounts with the artisan you hire
• Treat artisans with respect and professionalism at all times
• Leave honest reviews based on your genuine experience
• Notify Zuno if an artisan behaves improperly or dangerously

• Post fake, spam, or test jobs that waste artisan time
• Refuse to pay after work has been completed as agreed
• Harass, threaten, or abuse any artisan on or off the platform
• Attempt to take artisans off-platform to avoid Zuno's accountability system
• Use Zuno for any illegal or fraudulent purpose

As an artisan registered on Zuno, you agree to the following standards of conduct and professional responsibility:

• Provide accurate information about your skills, experience, and service area during registration
• Show up and complete jobs you accept — reliability is your reputation
• Charge rates that are fair, transparent, and consistent with what was agreed
• Behave professionally and respectfully toward all customers
• Maintain the subscription plan you are registered under honestly
• Notify Zuno promptly if you are unable to complete an accepted job

• Misrepresent your skills, qualifications, or identity on your profile
• Accept jobs you have no intention of completing
• Solicit customers to contact or pay you outside of Zuno's platform
• Manipulate or fake reviews on your profile
• Share your account credentials or allow others to use your account

The following actions are strictly prohibited on Zuno and may result in immediate account suspension or permanent ban:

• Creating fake or duplicate accounts for any purpose
• Impersonating another person, artisan, or Zuno staff member
• Posting false, misleading, or defamatory reviews about any user
• Using Zuno to facilitate theft, fraud, extortion, or any criminal activity
• Attempting to hack, scrape, or reverse-engineer any part of the Zuno platform
• Sending spam, unsolicited messages, or promotional content through Zuno
• Uploading malicious files, viruses, or harmful code to the platform
• Using automated bots or scripts to interact with Zuno without permission
• Posting content that is abusive, sexually explicit, hateful, or discriminatory

Zuno is a matching and marketplace platform. We connect customers with artisans but we are not a party to the payment transaction between them. Payment terms, amounts, and methods are agreed directly between the customer and artisan.

• Zuno does not process, hold, or guarantee payments between customers and artisans
• Payment disputes are between the customer and artisan directly
• Zuno may assist in mediation but is under no obligation to resolve financial disputes
• Artisan subscription payments to Zuno are final and non-refundable
• If you believe fraud has occurred, report it to us at support@zuno.ng and we will investigate

Zuno's review system is the backbone of trust on our platform. All users agree to the following review guidelines:

• Reviews must be honest and based on a genuine, completed job experience
• You may not post fake, paid, or incentivised reviews
• Reviews must not contain abusive language, personal attacks, or false claims
• Artisans may not pressure or threaten customers regarding reviews
• Zuno reserves the right to remove any review that violates these guidelines
• Disputes about reviews can be submitted to support@zuno.ng

Review manipulation — including creating fake accounts to boost ratings — is a serious violation and will result in permanent account removal.

Zuno reserves the right to suspend, restrict, or permanently delete any account at our sole discretion, including but not limited to cases where:

• A user violates any section of these Terms of Use
• Fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activity is detected
• An artisan repeatedly fails to show up for accepted jobs
• A customer repeatedly posts fake or malicious job listings
• Account credentials are shared or the account is used by multiple people

Users who believe their account was suspended in error may contact us at support@zuno.ng for review.

Zuno is a technology platform that facilitates connections between customers and artisans. We are not an employer, contractor, or service provider.

To the fullest extent permitted by Nigerian law, Zuno shall not be liable for:

• The quality, safety, or outcome of any service performed by an artisan
• Any property damage, personal injury, or financial loss arising from a job
• Artisans who fail to show up, complete work, or behave professionally
• Disputes between customers and artisans regarding payment or service quality
• Platform downtime, technical errors, or data loss
• Third-party services integrated with or linked from Zuno

You use Zuno at your own risk. We strongly recommend that customers verify artisan reviews before hiring, and that artisans maintain professional conduct at all times.

All content on Zuno.ng — including but not limited to the platform name, logo, design, code, text, graphics, and features — is the exclusive property of Zuno.ng and is protected under applicable Nigerian and international intellectual property laws.

• You may not copy, reproduce, or redistribute any Zuno content without written permission
• You may not use the Zuno name, logo, or branding for any commercial purpose
• You may not build competing products using Zuno's code, design, or concepts
• Content you submit to Zuno (reviews, job descriptions, profile info) grants Zuno a licence to display and use it on the platform

Your use of Zuno is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By agreeing to these Terms, you also agree to our Privacy Policy and the way we collect, use, and protect your personal information.

We handle all personal data in compliance with the Nigeria Data Protection Act (NDPA) 2023.

Zuno reserves the right to update or modify these Terms of Use at any time. When we make significant changes, we will notify registered users via email or an in-app notice.

The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page always reflects the current version. Continued use of Zuno after any update constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you disagree with any changes, you must stop using the platform.

These Terms of Use are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes arising out of or related to these Terms or your use of Zuno shall be resolved in the competent courts of Lagos State, Nigeria.

Zuno encourages users to contact us first at support@zuno.ng before pursuing formal legal action, as most concerns can be resolved quickly through direct communication.
